KF Training

Me: I can't have training on every Friday night because I have my Bible study.

Trainer: OK. How about this Saturday?

Me: Oh, this weekend is unavailable because starting from Friday I'll be going for a debate tournament. I am taking a day off from work for it :)

Trainer: What time does the debate start?

Me: I think around noon.

Trainer: How about we catch a movie on Friday morning before your debate?

Me: Hmm, I think it should be able to fit in. OK.

Trainer: Well, since you have time for a movie, why not you just come for a kick-boxing training session then?

Me: ..... *burst out laughing*

at home

When you're told: "Please make yourself at home.", what do you really wish to do?

I wish I could walk around the house in towel only and get any drinks I like from the fridge.

Well, at least this is my answer for now.

And I'm craving for sparkling ribena now, too :(

Heels Don't Kill

Since Monday, when I'm feeling optimistic, I thought I walk like a very demure girl; otherwise, I thought I walk like an old lady.

But no, my colleague just broke it to me: macam robot la!

Thanks to the pair of new, deceivingly-pretty heels. It's either you be their friends, or let them torture you. They don't kill like terrorists do.

*ouch*ouch*ouch*

Of Course

I do not smile unexplainably at the sound of your name. Because I can explain it. I have been smiling the whole day because I am happy today. Not because I have been thinking about you. Even if I happened to think of you for the whole day a while, that doesn't mean you're the reason I smile. There is not chain of logic between me thinking of you and me smiling. Because, it's normal. It's just a non-exhausting smile. Everyone can do that when they're happy, right? Even if the kind of joy is not usual - like a little sparkling glitters in my guts, a butterfly that makes my heart beats with silent excitement, it doesn't mean it's something that unusual that I have to write a post about it. I mean, even if I were to think of you, it's not something I should feel guilty about. Because I think of many people everyday. Sometimes, I even ask myself why didn't the Nasi Lemak stall open that morning. Yes, that's right. Many people. You're just one of them. So not special that I can forget about you when I wake up from a good night sleep. Even if I were to meet you tomorrow, it's just a normal hang out. Of course we need to meet up with friends sometimes. And, of course I'll feel excited to meet up with friends.

We're just friends, right?

Is it wrong..?

to keep staring at his lips?

His name is Roy. It's the only thing I remember about him, information which is not even told by himself.

If you have known that you cannot stop staring at him and go blank while he's telling you about himself, maybe you should have asked for his number, or email, something which is more practical, huh, HUH?

Well done, tangcherlinn, well done. You can help yourself with the rope. Now.

stop it stop it stop it radiant stop it stop it stop it sexy curves stop it stop it inviting stop it stop it stop it nicely shaped stop it stop it STOP IT! Don't you dare smiling at me in my dream!

Guilt

I'm sorry.

I'm very, very sorry. Really.

I promise you I'll swim at least 26 laps today, OK?

Look, it's not entirely my fault, too.

The thing is, that McD guy really has a very cute smile! And he.is.. overall, very charming, like, very. *dreamy* And I couldn't help but walked into the restaurant, again.

Why am I even blushing as I type this?! Stop it!!

Keh Len! Faster fire the cute guy from your restaurant if not I'll be visiting it more often than I swim! NooOooOoo!!12

Everytime as I submerged into the water, I hear nothing but the sound of tranquility, of the peaceful under water world.

Except, the fact that my heart keeps calling for your name.

For no apparent reason. I cannot help it.

And the pool accepts me as I am, gives me a space to repeatedly miss you, even as I was wondering if I should be. If not missing you is a more difficult task, then doing otherwise would make myself happier.

Breathe in, dive, float, breathe out. Even after 5 laps, my mind hasn't gotten rid of your name.

For you are special.

Love is when...

Love is when someone turns up at your doorstep, grinning, with a pack of durians at his side.

Love is when you open the fridge to find that it is almost empty, except a pack of milk sitting innocently at the middle rung.

Love is when you got to eat home-made dumpling during dumpling season! [Dee Dee faster come back eat bak zhang lah!]

Love is when your sister is egging you to switch off the lights even if you haven’t had enough reading before sleep.

Love is when someone suddenly can’t be reached and you begin to worry about him.

Love is when even if your husband doesn’t understand the dialogues in the drama yet he watches every episodes of it with you.

Love is when your daughter watches the football match with you even if she knows nuts about the sports, simply because the time for her to spend at home with you is getting shorter and shorter.

Love is when you’re forgiven for a mistake you did.

Love is in the food served on the table, free of charge.

Love is when a friend is willing to help you to move into a new place.

Love is when you’re nagged about the same thing again and again.

Love is when someone asks you if you want coffee. Or, Sparkling Ribena ;-)

Love is when someone asks if you will be seeing each other again.

Love is when you have a partner to roll on the floor laughing together while watching silly cartoons.

Love is when someone sings your name in a two-notes melody.

Love is when the book stores have SALES!

Love is when the radio station plays your favourite song.

Love is when God spent His time planning your future for you, that you’ll have a role in His mighty works. That you’re awed to speechlessness when you see everything fits nicely with each other.

Because I...

Do you sometimes have too many things to blog about but ended up only saying a sentence which has nothing in relation to what you want to blog about?

These days I keep having random sentences popping up in my mind. Most of them starts with the word "because".

Because I know you want me.

Because I have my heart string attached to the guitar you're strumming.

Because I am not the innocent girl whom you can easily manipulate now. Because I have been away and am changed. Because I am stronger now. Because I don't feel for you now. Because you cannot influence me now. Because I don't bother to give you a damn anymore.

Because the world stops when a Burmese jokes with a Nepali like a brother :) Because nothing else matters but friendship which crosses racial, cultural and nationality borders.

Because I grow an inch more mature as I feel with my heart.

Because I wonder if you're still the same you.

Because Pau is a great guy and a helpful friend.

Because finally Keh Len reminds of something other than McD: Gossip Girls!!

Forgive Him and Love the Weather

Oh, slash the previous post. It's plain stupid to be mad at such an adorable guy. It wasn't his fault, and he actually meant it with good intention. I should have more faith in him, shouldn't I? What was I kia su-ing for lar?! *slap forehead*

A sudden joy swoops past me, and forgiving someone is such a wonderful feeling.

Ah, the weather is lovely. I want to go the Titiwangsa lake and
sit down and stare at the sky
read a book beside the lake
walk around the park (and avoiding the grass. I have phobia with grass)

If not at the park, maybe I want to go:
JOGGING
PLAY BASKETBALL
SWIMMING
SHOPPING
DATING

Wait! NoOooOoo where DID the last one come from?! Oh yeah, I have phobia with dating, too.

I guess I should just stay in my room and study for my viva (It's tomorrow!!) which consists of friggin' 20% for the total marks for my 12 credit hours thesis!!

And yes, study for Genetic, the last paper to for my four years Biomedical Science university life, which will be on Wednesday. Awesome Brilliant. I am not using the word Awesome for some kia su reason lalala~

Won a book, yay!

Arrggghhh my hands are itchy, I need to blog lol

Dad called. He told me that I won a Confession of a Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella from Mix.Fm. MUAHAHAHAHA~ Well, thanks to Mix.Fm, it's my first time actually winning anything from those contests. Not that I took part in a lot of contests like this, especially those require some creative slogan to complete the application. I've forgotten if that contest required any slogan. Even if they did, I've forgotten what I wrote though. Anyway, I really wanted to read that book! Even if I'd watched the movie with darling Fea, Jespreet, Jerry & Sek Kuan that day. In fact, any books by Sophie Kinsella is welcome on my book shelf :)

I'll go to Kinokuniya for my last feast before I leave KL. Must! I'll miss the feeling of being surrounded by rows and rows of book shelves, and talk about the smell of those crisp pages! *sniff* ah.. stress reliever :)

I know you like it

You hold it firmly in your hand, stick it gently through your lips, and it dances around in your mouth. In and out, some like it fast, some like it slow. You're getting more experience in doing this as you practise it more often. You can even do it with your eyes close. It takes only 10 minutes to get the job done, when white liquid leaks out from your month. And it makes the smile on your face spells: Pleasure.

Pleasure because now your oral is clean :)

Ah, I love brushing my teeth with Darlie toothpaste, especially with a new toothbrush.

Random Thoughts

1. Received a reply email from a friend and felt all warm-up from the inside out =)
2. Had the most disgusting meal in KTSN Cafe for lunch: plain rice, fried oily brinjal, fried spicy tou gua. It costs me RM3. And I felt awful after forcing myself to finish everything on the plate. There wasn't much choices, all the greens were finished and... maybe it's just me? After staying in KTSN 1 for three years consecutively...

3. Watch US Vice Presidential Debate 2008 from YouTube. The debate was not bad, though Darryl said seemed like Biden and Palin have practised their policy speech for tonnes of times already before the debate, so there isn't much impromptu. I like the way they phrased their words and speeches. Nice manner. Also downloaded the first and second Presidential Debate between Mccain and Obama, but yet to watched.

4. Downloaded a couple of video clips from YouTube. Nice songs introduced by others and newspapers, though some aren't my cup of tea. Currently playing repeatedly on my laptop is Because You Live by Jesse Mccartney. Thanks to my sister, Tuna =)

5. Suppose to write an article on the Wall Street meltdown and how it serves as an advantage for Asia market. Have yet to find a favoring piece of article towards it - all were saying more negative stuff. Is the CEO whom we interviewed pulling our legs or what? He was the one saying this is a good opportunity for Asia market to rise!

6. Celebrated Dev's birthday with chocolate cake from Grand Season Hotel, Sudan Crisis presentation and a debate on HIV testing made mandatory for marrying couples.

7. A friend has engaged in a relationship with a guy from the same hometown; another childhood friend in Russia has broken up her one year+ relationship with her British boyfriend.

8. Wonder if I'd ever have a chance to travel abroad again.

9. Wanted to fake a crush on someone and fool myself into believing that I really have a crush on someone. But I haven't found a target for this. Maybe later then. It should be fun. It's best i remain single for now. Relationship stuff is kinda complicated to handle especially at this busy and deadlines-approaching moment.

10. English Speaking Zone has ended with smooth closing ceremony. And I camwhored with my new hairband after that.
11. I have passed the KTSN Mama authority to Lee Fang, completely. I am now no longer in-charge of transport-applying, venue-booking, organising and conducting training, head-counting and number-reporting for trainings - things which I've done for 2 solid years and am tired of. I finally got the courage to say "I need a break". And Darryl has been very understanding.

Night mares

Having two stupid night mares in a row really doesn’t make my day. Thinking back, the night mares were pretty silly and funny. But they did disturb my sleep and this morning I woke up feeling very awful.

I dreamed that a friend of mine thought that I told everyone that he is my boyfriend and that pissed him off. Well, of course I didn't, and we’re both good friends, surely we don’t want such rumors circulate among us. The thought of him being angry at me really saddened me. The emotion was very real although it’s just a dream. A night mare, I mean.

After that, I dreamed that another friend of mine is getting engaged/married (can’t remember). I do have a friend who’s engaged in March. It’s exciting to know that and I’m happy for her. But this friend in my dream, well, I’ve never known she’s in a relationship or a lovey-dovey kind of person, yet. Besides, she loves her job and *ahem* loves traffic jams – I doubt if she had time for all these. Most of all, she’ll never rush into a marriage if she’s not ready for it and no one can force her to do so. What happened in my dream was, she’s not sure if she’s ready for it! Oh, no! Half of me was already planning to convince her to runaway! Yet, I didn’t manage to do that because I was scared off my bed on the thought of her getting married in the first place.

Stupid dreams.

But these dreams are not more stupid than Myanmar military junta who doesn’t allow foreign medical and food aids to go into their land to relieve the cyclone victims there. Their reasons for being stupid? The junta are afraid of the foreign aids will reap them off power in Myanmar after 46 years of iron ruling there. Nargis cyclone was a natural disaster all right, we all knew that. But if they stop foreign communities to give help, the junta will have to pay the price for they’re the one causing secondary disaster there. The rise of death toll will no longer due to the natural disaster – it’s the junta that causes the loss of life there! Let the relieve aids in, stupid!
